The Legend of Kotaro

Set in Japan’s Edo period, a valiant Shiba Inu pup named Kotaro embarks on a perilous quest when his village is destroyed, and his family is taken by evil yokai. Kotaro must navigate dangerous locations, combat a variety of unique yokai spirits and creatures, and make new friends along the way to save his family.

Embark on a nostalgic journey with “The Legend of Kotaro”, an upcoming Gameboy Color title crafted with GB Studio. Drawing inspiration from iconic handheld classics like the Megaman series and Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, "The Legend of Kotaro" aims to capture fun and challenging platforming with action elements and intriguing story and graphics.

Avoid dangerous traps and defeat the evil yokai you encounter through unique platforming levels while collecting coins, hidden items, and health pick-ups in your pursuit to rescue Kotaro’s family.
