Here is my submission for the 2025 Game Boy Showdown Game Jam. 

This cutscene was inspired by the novel The Call of Cthulhu by H. P. Lovecraft.

I used Zaebucca's Free Demo Candle Cathedral tile set for the interior shot. That can be found here.
